Hellooooooo Quarantine!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Guys,
I hope that everyone is doing well and staying safe during the quarantine. During this time, I have encountered a series of emotions. My family and I have had joy, extreme laughter,(moments to cherish forever) unexpected loss of a dear family member, frustration, and sickness. It seems like you just can't win. We have learn to lean on each other, trust God and make the best of our situation every time. I am writing this blog post in between checking emails for school, because as you know we are all now teaching online to our students. My thoughts on that process will be for another blog post, but lets just say everyday is a new challenge, but as educators we embrace them all because we have one goal in mind, we want to see our students win, no matter what. A few things that I am doing to keep me sane are as follows:

1. Getting dress everyday, no matter how I feel.

2. Reaching out to speak with someone at least twice a week that is outside my home.

3. Taking daily walks, my husband and I walk at least three morning a week at 6:30am in the neighborhood. to actually breathe the fresh air feels amazing.

4. Personal grooming is a must, I have done a manicure, a pedicure, a facial all to myself and that has kept some normalcy in my environment.

5. Lastly, I am finally getting to that to do list around the house of little projects that I meant to do, but have not quite done. So far I have stained my kitchen cabinets, up and coming, I need to paint the kitchen island and I need to stain my kitchen table.

We are all trying to keep busy, hopefully this will be all over soon. I see that man people across the world are doing a great job of social distancing so that we as a whole can flatten the curve. Stay safe everyone.

Here is a pic of my family working on a super 3D puzzle last night (500 pieces).
